Direct X 11 efficiency benefits

I have a first person project that runs great on dx9. I see I can add dx11 support just by clicking it in the Player Settings. If I don’t specifically configure dx11 features such as tessellation/etc. is there a general benefit of supporting the API, like efficiency/etc?

I don’t have direct Unity knowledge, but generally in games people report an increased framerate when running in 11. You could watch the framerate during gameplay to see how much it affects your game’s speed.
