Directional Specular issue

Hey hi all, current project I am working on and getting this bug in baked lighting. Any idea as to why it is happening on simply flat surfaces, specular highlights is all curvy and noticeable where there are shadows forming up on different parts of wall.

It’s a limitation of the directional specular lightmap technique. Not much to do other than approach it differently.

Hi, Direct Spec has a way of finding all your flaws and emphasizing them, so it generally makes things much worse and worked better during Beta when it was more subdued, so for now all you can do is set the quality even higher, such as irradiance budget / quality or just use normal directional lighting without the spec :slight_smile:
