Disable movement velocity?

Hi. I am trying to disable all movement velocity with my player. I want W to simply make the player advance by speed * delta time in the forward direction. The acelleration in controller.move is driving me nuts.

How does one disable it?

I am using this script:

Check Edit > Project Settings > Input, and look at the Horizontal and Vertical inputs. Do you have “fake” acceleration going on there?
