hi when i have a sun light with soft shadows, and two more point light close together somehow the shadows is buggy.
is any solutions there?
thats all fine.
you are normally in good quality settings in the editor and those quality settings have a short shadow distances and only 1 light per object for shadow casting or alike
(remember, each light has a new pass per object so more lights and more affected objects will spike up the gpu requirements very far pretty fast)

changed to fantastic and its all solved
we have similar but slightly different issue,
unity 3.0, terrain, 1 shadow casting directional light on terrain, real-time shadows (not lightmap), trees etc…
seperate shadow casting light just with player mask.
but as we move the character around, and rotate the view, the whole shadow system turns on. and off all shadows switch off at once.
shadows dissapear from terrain, tree AO/shadows… everything…
rotate the camera back, and it all comes back.
any idea what this is ?

ok found the problem. turning off the player shadow light, fixes the problem with the main terrain shadow casting light… the shadows no longer turn on and off now
though we lost the nice sharp player shadow
