Disciples of the storm project launched!

Some may remember that my team was working on a fan reboot of the old RTS Netstorm Islands at war and had released several playable builds of the project using the Unity 3D game engine.

Our project caught the attention of the original developers that made Netstorm Islands at war, with them we approached Activision about taking the project beyond just being a fan tribute project but they were not interested in proceeding, so to avoid IP issues as advised we decided to stop the project work using the old IP but we are now teamed up with the original developers and are working on creating a new world and IP for our new game “Disciples of the Storm” that will be an entirely new game world with gameplay inspired off the original NS gameplay…

Morgan Ogburn the original artist for Netstorm has been busy working on reshaping the first temple concept for the wind faction…

We have also launched a kickstarter for the move to help fund development as we move to the new IP
and our kickstarter page talks more about the project.

Thanks, our kickstarter has now reached 11,425$ in backing as we are pushing for our main set goal for the funding of further development…

From the feed back we have gotten from the first video we have on our kickstarter page project “Disciples of the Storm” we have now put together a new second video that tries to go into a little more background info about game-play while walking through some of the elements of game-play.
