Discoloration upon Build

Whenever I test play my project on my kindle, all of my textures become discolored or almost like desaturated. Grayish, stale, the life has left the picture. Has anyone experienced this? Perhaps it’s my build settings. My textures are actually very vibrant on my pc monitor.

My guess is that it’s either the texture’s compression settings, or the difference between the screens.

I’d check the texture compression first. In the Project tab find your texture and change its compression for the device. Also check the texture compression override in the Android platform build settings (in the build platform dialog). Note that texture compression can make a huge difference to both visuals and performance, so learn how to get the most out of the least.

Aside from that, all screens show colour differently, and unless you get your screen calibrated to match your Kindle the colours will be a bit different. Some screens make a selling point of having especially vibrant colour - note that this is not the same as having accurate colour.
