Distorted Character

Hi. I seem to have problems importing my character :frowning: . When I drag it into the scene it gets distorted. I’m using Cheetah3D and its OK there. How can I fix that problem up?

In unity, you can try to reimport it like this:

Try changing the scale settings, both in the import settings, and inspector. I’ve never had problems with cheetah but doing this with maya has fixed messed up characters more than once. Post screenshots?

That looks to me like a weighting issue. As though theres a vertex or two that are not under influence by any bone. therefore, you move the root, most verts follow, but some stay where they started…

Thanks for the inadvertent help!
In my case it was a bone without any vertices assigned to it.
