Do I have to pay for a license to use Unity as a free VR video player?

Hello. I am looking to use Unity to play 360 degree videos on VR goggles as part of a company project.
I plan to use the VR player I created to allow people outside the company to experience the VR video for free. (The player itself will not be distributed).
Do I need to pay a license fee for this usage?
Thank you:)

As far as I know: if the project is made for the company you work for, or probably even if it’s a hobby project of yours but you use equipment of the company you work for, it depends on the company’s yearly revenue. I think that was “in excess of $100,000 in the past year” or something like that - if that is the case, then you’d need a license (more specifically, your company has to get a license for every employee that works on the Unity project).

Yes if your company earned $100k or more in revenue in past 12 months, including funding.

Best to ask unity support this question rather than rando’s on a forum
