Do I still exist?

Hi!

I’ve been trying to get hold of the Unitystaff for a month now. I have been writing to four different email-adresses at Unity and messaging Tom Higgins at the board. I haven’t recieved any replies so far. (except from a mailbot at sales)

It has gone so far that I am seriously starting to question my own existence. Collegues and friends respond to me when I adress them but that might all be a figment of my own imagination. So if anyone can see this call out, please reply, it will help me sleep better tonight. If this person is part of the Unitystaff its even better, I know its reaching for the stars but hey man has gotta be able to dream. It might even result in a big order of Unitylicenses in the future.

Sincerly

Wait … who said that ?

What do you exactly need? I am not of the Unity staff but I might be of assistence

Good luck. I sent nearly a dozen emails / PM’s to T.H. over a period of month and never got a reply. Guess I don’t exist either. :frowning:

@LamentConfig: I’m here, I’m here!!! Can you hear me

@SimonAlkemade: I need some marketing material from the company, numbers and stats of Unity, webplugins installed, awards, numbers of users, big companies using unity, a.s.o. I have followed Unity for a couple of years now and seen info but I rather have more up to date figures. I’m doing a presentation at my company showing off Unity´s capabilities. So basically I want Unity to help me doing a better job in selling their product to our management. But if any of you guys have some info about trends about 3D on the web, links etc it would be much appriciated.

The fast facts page is a good place to start for this type of info: Wondering what Unity is? Find out who we are, where we've been and where we're going | [site:name]

Also, some “stats” on web player installs here: http://unity3d.com/unity/publishing/web

… and some web player hardware stats: http://unity3d.com/webplayer/hardware-stats.html

Besides that, the best place to ping is sales@unity3d.com … emailing any one of us directly usually isn’t very efficient. Also, Tom Higgins has moved away from being a large part of the Unity community so expecting timely PMs from him here on the forum isn’t realistic at this time.

@antenna tree: Thank you. I have looked at those pages before and thats where I was thinking of grabbing the info from. Was just curious in some more hard numbers. If there is 35 million webplugins installed today, how many was it 1 year ago and how many 2 years before that. 35 million webplugins might be a great number for unity but if flash showed that number it would be a really bad number so by itself it doesn’t say all that much. Seeing the trend is much more informative. Like the small chart next to the info. If I get something like that with figures it would be great.

I am under the impression that Unity skyrocketed one and a half year ago and has continued going upwards. I also think that realtime 3D on the web is a trend that has just started and will grow significally over the next couple of years. But what I think isn’t that important, I need to be able to show it. So if you can find out some more specific numbers for me it would be very helpful.

Went through my mailbox and it was actually more like a week ago. Funny how long waiting feels like when you have a deadline lurking in front of you  Sorry if I prematurely implied people at Unity being bad in responding and I no longer doubt my existence. I’m sure there is a mail waiting for me tomorrow when I get back to the office and I can get on with my presentation.

Well if it was just a week ago then we were all at Unite and very busy

Well i’m sorry. My girlfriend hates when I’m premature aswell haha
