Hello.
I am looking for an event or a callback function that I can use, when a player game object ( Player GO ) is created on the client.
I am manually spawning the Player GO by using ClientScene.AddPlayer and then on the Server inside OnServerAddPlayer I am instantiating the Player GO and calling NetworkServer.AddPlayerForConnection.
This works, but is there a way for a client to know when the player object is created, so I can react to it?
I tried client.RegisterHandler ( whereas client is the NetworkClient ) with various MsgTypes like ObjectSpawn and Owner, but it says “Cannot replace system message handler…” with those MsgTypes.
If I try to find a Player GO right after ClientScene.AddPlayer then it doesn’t find anything, because I guess the server has to answer to the request, therefore I want todo something right after a Player GO is created/spawned. And I don’t want to constantly check if there is a new Player GO or something.
