Do the number of imported assets in your project folder impact load time?

So let’s say that I download a package off of the Unity Store that has some prefabs I wish to use and I use SOME of them but not all. Will those extras sitting around that I never touch impact the overall load time of my game?

I ask this because I find myself keeping around a lot of “might use” assets that are convenient to have available, and I just wanted to know if leaving those in their leads to a longer load time post-build.

No, only the assets that are referenced from your scenes will be used in the game. It’s okay (and normal) to have assets in the Project view that are not used by the game.
