Do we have URP-> HDRP now?

Asking for a friend who’d like to add raytracing on some powerful console

They actually released a forum for the last biggest piece of the puzzle for this.

Render Graphs is now in both URP and HDRP while also being able to be used for custom made SRP.
This was the biggest last piece for making this possible. By the sounds of it they will be making Render Graphs the default system. They are aiming for it 2023.3 than looks like our dreams will take a huge step forward of no longer having to deal with too many differences in SRP.

Better performance by default and less bugs by default for users.

Due note now it seems next they have a couple areas they want to implement.
AKA Shader Foundry and Block shaders.

ooohh i know about block shader, but shader foundry API this is the first time i heard about it

So Shader Foundry is the entire API set and Block Shader is built on top of Shader Foundry.

With this you write a Shader Block and Shader Foundry API automatically builds it to match your current active render pipeline.

So write once and have it for all renders.

They could have bought Jason’s stuff and be done with it…
Anyways, we’ll see if Ricitiello stepping down motivates the unity devs gain to do right by us.
