Do you know where i can get free sounds?

Hey guys,

im not sure if this is the right section but i didnt find one fitting better.

I am about to finish my car game and now i need some sound effects for the car engines and for the explosions. Do you know where i can get free sound effects that are free to use inculding commercial work? Because i could just search on youtube or something like that but then i always need to care of the copyrights and i thing that could become a problem. So maybe you know a simple site or database where i can get some free sounds for my games?

Google “royalty free sound effects”, and edit that several times until you get what you want.

However, make sure you read the site’s FAQs and make sure that the individual SFX is royalty-free.

I’m also guessing you don’t want any tips on how to make your own SFX, so have fun searching for them.

http://www.soundjay.com/ - All music/SFX are royalty free, with no need to give credit
http://www.freesound.org/ - Be careful- last time I checked, some of these may need credit due.
