hey,i want to make a stage system in unity2d so i watched brackeys save and load tutorial but it seems unneccsary so i wonder if i can make a very simple stage system using only player prefs because the only thing i want to save in my game is the stages and check if they are unlocked or locked every time you open the game.thanks in advance

Hi, I think an easy way to do this is to make a bool for each scene. I’m not a pro, and this is probably not the best way to do it, but it would be something like this:

public bool canEnterScene;

void OnTriggerEnter2D(Collider2D collision)
{
if(collision.tag == "whatever")
{
if (canEnterScene)
{
SceneManager.LoadScene("SceneName")
}
else
{
whatever happens when you can't enter
}}}}

I think this will work with what you need. If there are multiple scene that you want to enter, you can make multiple bools. Also, remember that it might not be an ontriggerenter, it will be whatever triggers your game to go to the next scene.
