Does Angry Bots use the Shuriken Particle System?

Does the Angry Bots demo use Shuriken or the legacy particle system?

We’re about to do a deep dive into the particle systems and would love to know this before hand.


The new Shuriken system has one component named ParticleSystem.

The legacy system, you’ll see three components with names from the Legacy tab: EllipsoidParticleEmitter, ParticleAnimator, ParticleRenderer. Visually (in the Inspector,) the two systems look very different.

The two have a lot of overlap, and there are a few things the Legacy system does that Shuriken doesn’t (stretch&aim, autoDestruct, some rotation values.) Shuriken seems like mainly being less programmer-y and more artist-y.
