I want to improve on my programming skills, because i want to be able to make my own FPS game in the future. But looking at tutorials, they give us the scripts, or tell us what to type in, most people do not tell you the reasoning behind doing it. I would like to find a tutorial where i can learn how to program an FPS so when im ready i do not need to watch tutorials to show me what to do.
I used these to help me make my FPS game (link to thread in sig). Easily the best tutorials I’ve found. I was good to start programming on my own about 1/2 - 3/4 of the way through.
