Does built-in Oculus Spatializer work for ambisonic sounds?

Working on an app using the Oculus XR plugin. Currently testing on a Quest 2 with link. I’m following these instructions but I cannot get ambisonic sounds to work properly–they are all just stuck to my head:

I’ve tested with a few files from a few different sources, including Oculus Ambisonic Audio Pack 01.

The audio needs of this app are not significant, but some ambisonic audio would be really good. I don’t want to have to use the full Oculus spatializer if I can avoid it.

Should this configuration work? In general, is there any documentation that outlines the difference between the built-in Oculus spatializer and the full spatializer plugin?

So much of the Oculus Spatializer is currently broken that I’m not sure what parts are working on the Quest. You might want to give the Steam Audio plugin a try. It works on Quest and it’s documentation is in better shape.
