Does cloud build even work???

Clicking the upload build or add target in Unity does nothing but open a blank browser with Loading… at the top. Great service.

It died to me years ago when they gated it based on the flavor of source control you used.

At the time they let Mercurial (Hg) repos build for free but not git.

I would forgive it if it was a for-pay source control like P4 or something.

But git?!

That was the end of it. Done!

It also was kinda dead to me for other reasons, mostly Blender3D: I value to ability to drop naked .blend files into my project more than having a third party cloud build, so I just got real good at building my own iOS / Android binaries, which is a skill you pretty much MUST do on a weekly basis or your skill tree rots out.

Thanks. I don’t have a mac (thank god) so cloud build is the only way I can get to iOS. I have gotten it working though. You have to go through their web portal - it doesn’t work at all from inside Unity. And yeah, so many hoops to jump through that you definitely forget a lot if you don’t do it all the time.
