Does FL Studio free (Demo Version) Have Saving Features?

Hi, i decided to use FL Studio for my music composing software and i don’t really want to buy the paid versions. Does FL Studio Demo Version have the capabilities to save music and play them back?

And i can’t really buy the purchased versions because i’m under age and my parents wont buy it, i can however buy the programs with prepaid cards if that was possible.

The demo version allows you to export to audio (.mp3/.ogg/.wav) and midi formats. So provided you complete a song in a single session you can have a copy of your work as an audio file. You can also actually save your projects for later use after you buy the program. Why not download the demo and try it out from here…

Hey is it allowed to sell songs I made with demo version so I can make cash to buy paid one

Probably not, but you’d have to read the EULA to be sure.

If you’re interested in a free alternative, try https://lmms.io/
After that, search google for “free vst plugins” and you’ll find more virtual Instruments than you’ll probably know what to do with. There’s so many out there these days.

Yeah just as kdgalla said, Lmms is a good one.
Like many other paid and free software, it is a bit buggy, but it works well enough.
And you can sell songs, that you make with it.

You might want to download, a famous vst called synth 1, which is made
by Daichi. It’s free.

This is probably not the best forum to ask… The FL Studio forums are here:

According to one of their KB entries (Can I make money with songs/tutorials made with FL Studio?), “you must have a valid licence for FL Studio (Academic versions do not qualify) and all the plugins used in your project, before you can use anything from FL Studio in any commercial production.”. Their EULA also states the following under “7. User obligations”:

tl;dr: No, you cannot sell songs made with the Demo version of FL Studio.

but can i publish em into like soundcloud and decline all payment from all sources

This is the Unity forums. It has nothing to do with FL Studio, they’re unrelated software. Direct your FL Studio questions to their official forums.

This thread is also nearly 8 years old. Google must be drunk if this is appearing in your search results.

No, because as soon as you upload stuff to SoundCloud or any other open platform, it is considered commercial. Even if you don’t earn money. The demo is limited to private use only. You are free to play around with it, maybe even show it your friends, but you are not allowed to publish any songs with it.

Again, the Unity forums aren’t the right place to talk about “FL Studio”. Unity Technologies is not the creator of it. Please direct your questions to here instead:
