Does Lightmapping takes too long on bigger scenes?

Hi, I’m working with a scene composed of 3 floors and when I went to bake the scene I realized that it would take hours and hours to bake it. So my question is whether it is possible for me to just bake floor by floor instead of the whole scene.

One option is to split your scene into several smaller scenes, which you can bake lighting for seperately, and then load them additively as they are needed.

If you are not using the GPU lightmapper, I can suggest trying it provided you have a GPU that can support it.

With proper lightmap resolution settings, you can bake very large scenes
Use lightmap scale solution for non important objects
