Just curious. I use it with Unity all the friggin’ time but lately (within the past year or two) its become mostly useless. I’m getting fed up but it seems nothing has replaced it thus far…

The Omnisharp VS Code plugin has nothing to do with Unity C#. Considering that the Omnisharp extension’s most recent update was ~5 days ago as of this writing, it’s safe to assume that the extension is still being maintained. Unity is under no obligation to ensure that the Omnisharp plugin works with Unity, whatever that means.
If you wish to be more specific, perhaps more specific advice or clarity could be given to you. Or did you just want to complain, in which case what kind of answer were you expecting anyway?
