I have had an issue, where after upgrading a project from 2018.3 to 2019.1 (alongside many other errors) all of the post processing disappears. The volume is still there and I can edit the profile, but it doesn’t have any effect on the scene or game view whatsoever.
After some trial and error I found out that the issue only arises when justin the HDRP. With the built in pipeline the post processing works as it should, as soon as I put the HDRP asset into the graphics settings it disappears.
This issue is re-creatable in a new empty 2019.1 project using the latest versions of postProcessing and HDRP.
I suppose HDRP is still a preview after all so I can’t complain too much about some issues arising. If anyone has a fix for this though, please let me know.
The HDRP has discontinued support for The post processing stack in 2019.1 and it is now all integrated into the volume settings of the volume script that used to be just for the sky settings and the like.
Find the chapter titled : Native integration of Post Processing in HDRP
The new one does not seem to work in the same way and without documentation all custom effects seem to be out of action which has been very frustrating for me at least.
@StolenCheese
Yeah I actually stumbled across a screenshot where the integrated PostProcessing was shown in HDRP and managed to get it working then. Thank you nonetheless! As you said its just kinda frustrating that the PostPro shuts off without any feedback. But well if I had followed the Blog posts I suppose I could have known.
