Somebody told me that screen resolution is a parameter that affect the training process. For example, if my agent is a car, when trained on different resolution will effect the distance and time to reach the target spot.
Is it true? I found this ridiculous but can’t stop thinking about the possibility that it might affect.
If your agent is using visual observations, the resolution of the camera the agent uses to “see” will definitely have an effect on how it trains. If it doesn’t use visual observations, the resolution of the game may affect overall rendering performance. Let me know if that answers your question.
