So while checking out Soomla I got the feeling that their site did not have the “open source” feel that I’m used to, like with Blender and GIMP. When I go to the site, it definitely has a marketing feel about it, like they’re desperately trying to sell me something.
What’s the deal? Is Soomla really on the up and up as an open source project, or are they making money somehow? And if so, how?
I’m just a little paranoid I guess…
