Does the cycle offset also work on sprite based animations?

Does the cycle offset also work on sprite based animations?

I’m having no luck using this feature. In the animation properties I check the “Loop Time” checkbox and fill in 0.5 in the “Cycle Offset”. But I see no difference in the preview tab or in the Game view. Am I missing something?

It will work only on the start of the state machine. It doesn’t loop like the way you want (and should). Even Construct 2 has this option, but not Unity.
