Does the performance of the game depend on the machine confi

Hi Guys

I am facing a wired problem, when ever I create a package of my game which works properly on a particular Machine import it back in on a different machine all the setting that were working fine previously go haywire they just don’t seem to be working properly. Please can any one explain me the reason of such a behavior?

I have also attached a test package of a scene which works fine on my machine however does not on a different machine.

thanks

how fast is your machine?
As long as it isn’t a regular casual machine (those you get thrown after you in ads etc), but something significantly stronger, you should opt to use lower quality levels than those “working just fine” for you.

Hi dreamora

Attached is a image of my machine configuration

also i have a another machine with the following configuration

processor : Intel core i5 quad core 2.6GH
Ram : 4GB
Nvidia : 1 Gb graphics card

I mean it works properly on the above mentioned machine however it does not on the machine of which i have attached the image.

Does the performance differ for machine to machine. even if the game has been only opened in the edition n not converted in to a exe?

the comparision there is like comparing a ferrari with a fiat panda (or the $5000 indian car).

The configuration below there by todays standard does not even qualify as crap anymore, thats below crap actually …

the 6150 was already crap when it was released years ago (its not even a 6000 series cards which it pretends to be, its a modified 5000 series of the lowest series there)

another important thing on this card is that you must ensure to have the latest drivers for it, especially on Vista+

On a card like that it can work.
But only if you write your game to adopt the quality level, similar to how the island demo does it.

you will need to reduce the detail level and disable advanced shaders like the pro shaders because it won’t hold up.

HAHAHAHA

thanks I got my answer.

hey i also have another issue could u look in to it please ?
