Hi, I am interested in purchasing unity 3.4 pro, but I would like to know if the purchased version comes with lifetime updates. For example, will I need to pay an extra fee if unity pro goes higher than 3.4, or if unity 4 pro comes out?

You will get updates for free for any 3.x updates, but will have to pay an upgrade fee for Unity 4. The upgrade fee for 2.x to 3.x was $500, no guaranteeing it will be the same in the future though. Only time will tell.
