does unity 5 pitch shifter audio effect change playback speed?

In unity 4, when you change the pitch of an audio source it also changes the speed at which the audio is played back.

so if you make the pitch higher, the sound will play faster.

I was wondering if the Audio Pitch Shifter Effect in unity 5 has the capability to change the pitch of the music or fx sound while keeping the same speed as the original.
