I am seriously contemplating uninstalling Windows 7 due to all the latest security issues. The only program I use is unity. I was watching videos on using unity with wine but all recent comments had users reporting issues with licensing. So does unity work on the newest version of ubuntu?

The Unity Editor is not available on Linux. Only built/exported games are.
