Does unity do that ?

Hi

third unreal project I work on and as I package it for windows it gives tons of errors out of thin air

  • projects are running perfectly fine in the editor
  • no idea how to fix these errors (google does not help much)
  • oh yeah… they steal 15% of your income if you publish on steam

is Unity doing the same, cos I am god f@#king sick and tired of unreal

thanks

Does what exactly?

cant be more clear

“projects are running perfectly fine in the editor”

as I package it for windows it gives tons of errors out of thin air

It’s quite subject opinion. If something is done right it don’t throw errors.

I am talking about “runs in the editor-> should run when releasing/packaging”

I wanna know if unity throw these sort of time wasting horseshits

I’ve never used Unreal, so that’s probably why I can’t understand your dilemma.

In Unity there is no need to build a test project, you just press the play key and it starts right away.

Compilation of the final project has never let me down. Unity is modular, so you add the appropriate module for your specific platform and compile. Simple and hassle-free.

thanks

Unity relies on C# code to make stuff work.

The code is VERY case and spelling sensitive so definitely watch your spelling if you type code in.

Although I’m sure if you’re anything like me your spelling’s spot on anyway (contrary to what the dozy blurt from work said last week!)
