Does Unity have good visual scripting?

I’m very new to programming and am primarily an artist. I’m looking to create some very simple environments with simple iterations.

I’ve spent a few months with Unreal4 and it’s blueprints system and am now looking to explore Unity so that I can decide what is best for me. Does Unity have a similar system? I don’t quite know where to start. I’ve seen various plugins that do visual scripting but are any of them really common and widely used?

PlayMaker seems to be the most popular one.

There doesn’t seem to be well presented tutorial series on this like you do with Unreal’s Blueprints, just scattered random tutorials made by users. There isn’t even one tutorial on it on DigitalTutors, so I’m getting the impression that it’s not as versatile/intuitive as Unreal yet.

There is a bunch of tutorials from the developer:

There is nothing like blueprints in unity - playmaker is similar but much more limited in scope and capability.

I have found that most artists prefer unreal for this reason
