I’ve set up a soft body simulation for a waving banner in maya. I’ve baked the simulation and simplified the keyframes. I’ve imported the model into Unity and set the import settings for the animation to be in root and specified the keyframes to be an idle animation clip. When I run the level, no animation.
Am I doing something wrong or does Unity not support vertex level animation yet?
Do I have to use bones to “fake” the waving banner look?
