A therapist has expressed interest in using our game as a platform on which to hold therapy sessions, but would like to know if the game’s voice communication (which is provided by the Vivox service) uses HIPAA complaint encryption?

Hello! Unfortunately Vivox is not HIPAA compliant at this time. However, I will take note of this post to try and help gauge the community interest for this feature. We apologize for any inconvenience!
It is a few years past, but I would also like to express interest in an encrypted version of Vivox for use in HIPAA compliant applications.
Hi, we haven’t added HIPAA compliance to the service. I’ll note the feedback but to date there hasn’t been another request for this outside of this thread so it isn’t on our roadmap at this time.
