In the help it says that Ogg Theora format or .ogg files are the way to go for downloading movie streams, but what about .ogv files? Are these okay too?

2.ogv is Ogg Theora, so shouldn't have any issues there
Using Unity itself to convert the quicktime movies to ogv then manually renaming the .ogv or .ogm to .ogg does the job nicelely.

try renaming an .ovg file to .ogg? it could well be that it's a bug with the file parser checking file extensions
