DOTS game works in editor, but subscene does not load in build?

I have been getting completed builds but entities/subscene do not load in the build?

In the editor, the game works perfectly.

I have been working on this for quite awhile trying to skim the internet for a solution, but couldn’t find any that were answered, thus I am here.

I get this error from the player debug file

Could not open file C:/Users/Enerology/Desktop/Tower Defense Dots/Tower Defense Test v0.1_Data/StreamingAssets/SubScenes/306c44059c2951d409c2be4fdee1803d.entityheader for read 
(Filename: C:\buildslave\unity\build\Runtime/File/OpenFileCache.cpp Line: 61)

IOException: Failed to read from C:/Users/Enerology/Desktop/Tower Defense Dots/Tower Defense Test v0.1_Data/StreamingAssets/SubScenes/306c44059c2951d409c2be4fdee1803d.entityheader!

Turns out that you need to install the “Platforms” package AND the “Platforms.Windows” package to get it to work with subscenes.

Alternative solution to this is to write/read this data manually from code.

OMG thankyou @enerology. This was driving me nuts!
The Hybrid Renderer just doesn’t work without these packages and there is no errors to indicate it.
