Hi all,
I’m working on an iPhone application where one of the features is that the user will download content from the internet and then also watch it. The problem is that after the clip is downloaded it’s not possible to watch it. The iPhone just starts the “video mode” and then instantly leaves it and goes back to the application.
There is a clip from the start in the application which works and the same settings are used for the ones that are downloaded:
Handheld.PlayFullScreenMovie(currentPath, Color.black, FullScreenMovieControlMode.Full, FullScreenMovieScalingMode.Fill);
where currentPath is the path to the clip.
I use Application.persistentDataPath to set the path where the clips should be saved after they are downloaded.
The clip can be played from the phone when browsing it through Dropbox so I guess it’s nothing like the format isn’t supported.
I’m really at lost here because it works perfect for Android but something is wrong when it’s compiled for iPhone. Could it still be some problem with where it’s saved? Any settings that I need to use to write to the storage in the iPhone? All ideas are very welcome ![]()
Cheers,
Akke
