Download Assets without Unity?

I don’t have the internet at home right now and I want to play around with the tutorials. I tethered my cell phone to allow me to get the 2D and space shooter asset packs. I want to play around with the stealth tutorial but I don’t want to download 500 mb on my cell.

Is there a way to download the assets on a PC and transfer them over to another machine? Will I have to install Unity on that other PC or is there a way to download them?

If I have to install Unity on the internet PC then is there a way to export the assets and import them onto the other PC?

We’re now in 2015 and still wish to download assets WITHOUT Unity.
