Download failed: Request timeout when downloading Android SDK and NDK etc.

Hello, I am downloading a newer version of unity using the unity hub (3.0.0-beta.5) I selected Android Build Support, Android SDK and NDK tools, and OpenJDK. I got this error when downloading. I restarted my device and selected an older version of unity but I still get this error.

This issue was fixed in the latest Hub V3 :wink:
Could you please update your Hub and check if this is still an issue?

I got the same issue. I clicked on the reload button at the top and it helped!

Is your Hub version 3.0?

Unfortunately, I don’t know what your problem is.
I’ll just describe how it all happened for me:
All components loaded successfully except for ANDROID NDK. Because of it, the installation did not start.
I clicked on the “try again” button.
After that a popup appeared where I gave some permission. I clicked “Yes” (or “OK”, I don’t remember).
And after that ANDROID NDK started loading without errors.
I suppose if I hadn’t given permission, the download would have failed again.
Have you been asked some permission?

This issue is currently happening to me. I’m using UnityHub 3.2.0.
But running the program as admin fixed it.

Its happening to me on version 3.4.1.

Android NDK times out.

All other packages completes.

Happy to report that retrying the download once everything else finished seemed to work, however!

install 3.4.1 unity hub download the stuff and then after downloading upgrade the hub :slight_smile:

JUST CLICK ON RETRY ICON THEN THE DOWNLOAD CHECK AND CONTINUE DOWNLOADING WHERE DID IT STOPS…

I am having this issue today and last night in Unity 6.4.
Even after running as admin, and letting it through private and public network. Might be a Windows issue possibly, so I’ll try that first.
