Download of Unity Asset Server VM consistently FAILS

This should be easy. All I want to do is download the prebuilt VMware image of the Unity Asset Server…I’ve done it before. The link is here: http://unity3d.com/files/asset-server/unity_asset_server.i686-2.0.1.wmx.tar.gz

However, nobody on my team can manage to get it to download completely anymore, whether at work or at home, whether behind a proxy or not. Therefore, I suspect it is a problem on the server side.

The download consistently either fails due to some sort of interrupt…or APPEARS to complete, but in reality only downloads about 40 of the listed 140MB size.

Sure, I can go ahead and run an install from scratch - but that sort of defeats the purpose of having a nice ready-made VM image to download. Thoughts???

Did you try a download-manager? Often the browsers cant handle big / slow downloads.
No problem of downloading over here.

I’m having the same problem. Never had a problem like this for large downloads on any other server…

As it turns out, using a download manager worked for me - but I found it baffling that this server seemed to require it with my browser, while scores of others serving up much larger files did NOT require this extra step.
