If I download any free project from Unity the download speed given by the asset store in unity is too slow… Is there any other method of downloading from asset store like direct browser download… Thanks in advance. 
Assets bought on the store can only be downloaded through the store in Unity.

No there isn’t a way. Even if you click the Download Assets from the link here for the Stealth project http://unity3d.com/learn/tutorials/projects/stealth
it just opens the webpage for the asset store which in turn would open Unity to download it.
