Failed downloading assets from server: ERROR: compressed data is corrupt

I know this is a very old thread but in case some one else is looking for this:

We had the same problem and couldn’t update from the asset server because the corrupt date. We found a workaround (NOT a real solution).

  1. Identify the update with the corrupt file by reverting the project to each recent commit in the asset server history.
  2. In windows, copy the troublesome files from the person who commit them and paste them to other collaborators project in the corresponding folder. Remember to copy the meta files too.

This should make the asset server ignore the update with the error.
