Downloading the Space Shooter Package

I’m trying to download the Tutorial Package for the Space Shooter game. And when I come to the page, it has an “Open in Unity” button, after I click on it and it opens Unity, after that, nothing happens.

I noticed a comment that says open the Asset Store from within Unity. I searched from the menus in Unity 5, and seems that I can’t find where it is. Kindly help me on this problem as I can’t go through with the tutorial, thanks.

Its under the Window menu. You can also open it with hotkeys - CTRL+9 on Windows, CMD+9 on OS X.

Thanks Ryiah, I found it now, but the problem is it says that “You are currently offline you must be online in order to download content from the Asset Store.”

I tried to Sign In on my browser and it works fine. How could I sign in from within Unity?

This is frustrating, isn’t there an easier way to download this package and I could just manually install it from my PC?

Check the upper-right corner of the Asset Store’s window. There should be an option to Log In.

Below is a Print Screen of what the Asset Store window looks like when I open it.
I use Windows 7 and my internet is at home, no proxy problems.

And here’s what I get when I open the upper right corner menu :

So, I really don’t know where to go from here, I hope this could be solved as it’s really taking away the learning time.

Is there a way for me to download the package from the browser to my Online Asset Store Account and then download the package to my PC and install it manually?

OK, finally solved the problem, thanks for your help and support Ryiah.

I went to this URL: http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/known-issues-in-unity.255282/

5. Asset Store is offline

I can finally access it now.
