Okay…well I am about to download Unity. Is there a free version of Unity where you can still create games but not have nearly as much ability as the Pro? Or is it a free trial that lasts like a month? I have Unity itself like, to play Unity games, but not the game creator.
The free version is not a limited trial. Both the free and Pro versions are fully functional products that can be used to create commercial applications (although there’s a turnover cap on the free version - see the licensing terms for details).
The Pro version has more features than the free version, but the free version is nevertheless fully functional.
(Note also that you can download the free version with the pro features activated on a limited trial basis, but the free version itself is not time-limited.)
