Drag Rigidbody Script lags on IOS device?

Hi all, the script worked fine and smoothly on the device yesterday, and since then Ive done nothing but optimise the game, not touching the main camera or subsequent script. Now however, it looks choppy as if the update is being called half as much, but on the Xcode internal profiler it says the longer i drag an object the higher the framerate gets. understandable, as this then affects FPS and therefore physics. is there a way to keep this down to stop it piling up the framerate? cheers guys.

Strange as hell, I reimported the script several times and jigged it around a bit and it was fine, not cool. lost a lot of time on that one.
