I’ve done a Google and forum search and can’t find anything on this subject, so thought I would create a new post…

Is there a DRM video solution built in to Unity that will allow playback of DRM protected video content?

If not, are there any plans for it? Also, if it can’t be done using native Unity technology can 3rd party software be used to integrate this into a Unity project?

I will add to this since I’ve been researching it. I have not found any reasonable DRM solutions for Video content withing Unity. I am using AVPro and they don’t have drm support and they don’t plan on offering DRM support anytime soon. The only other solution I have found is Nexplayer’s Unity plugin however, this options is multiple thousands of Dollars per year which is quite expensive for a Unity option. I hope there are others out there who have found a solution and can share!
