Drop Box

Having trouble storeing your unity game files locally…well your worries are over…

I was watching click…BBC News channel and they were talking about a great utility that offers you to store data …virtual harddrive…I checked it out and installed its fabulous it call “DROPBOX” gives you 2 gigabytes of data below is a link…this link is a friends referell which earns me a extra 250 megabytes on my account …or you can just register without me taking up the friends link but I don’t get the extra 250 storage space…

its free the 2 gigabytes …or you can upgrade to 50 megabytes but there is a cost for that service

Dropbox is pretty awesome, but with only 2GB with the free account, it fills up fast. Although it did come in handy when I wanted to sync up a project folder so I could work on it at work and at home without any hassle.

DropBox has ‘saved my life’ on numerous occasions… what with syncing projects and a magical backup that made me smile when everything went the shape of a pear!

Matt.

for the magical backup I prefer FileHamster actually, much faster and more productive to restore data and merge different versions of a script but yeah have a DropBox Pro as more and more teams use it so I as contract dev need to have the space to keep all their shares in my dropbox ^^

signed up using the link.

goodman…3 more and then the circle is complete…

I needed to set up my own account anyway… so one more

christmas is still here…

Used drop box tit works okay but there is big problem. If you have 2 guys working on the scenes at the same time its going to start updating it always and its going to explode, so I guess make your own copy.

A team of 2 people? Such unheard of luxury.

thanks to those who have used the link below to increase my storage space…one more sucker…I mean charitable person and I have reached my three megabyte quota
