Is there any way I can find the same data as in Google Analytics? Where i can see the user flow through the entire app from starting to stopping the app?
I would be interested in the drop off rate between minigames in my app, which can’t really be done with funneling as far as i understand. It never creates the same data i would get in Google Analytics.
Currently there isn’t really a way to get this information in the Analytics dashboard. Basically what you’re describing is non-sequential funnels (our current funnels only work with sequential data). This is a feature we have been discussing for awhile and really want to add, but is not possible with our current system’s architecture. A lot of work has been going into fixing and improving our system’s architecture though, and we’re hoping one day to be able to offer this kind of feature.
In the meantime, we do offer a feature called Raw Data Export for Unity Pro users, which would allow you to download all your raw events and therefore be able to track patterns yourself.
As for raw data export, we could but then again sending our analytics too google as well just for this data is easier then writing our own parsing methods.
In the future however, we would prefer to send it all to just one analytics page. Is this currently on the Unity Roadmap so we can keep an eye on it? If not, please have someone add it
I can certainly understand that desire! That feature is definitely on our roadmap for once our architecture changes make it possible! I don’t have any information on a timeline for it, but know that it is on our wishlist as well!
Force someone to put it on the “real” roadmap! I bet more people would desire this feature so it can get gain some attention over Unite events etc. about “this thing on the roadmap”.
