Dualshock acceleration/gyro windows support

I’ve seen, that in new Input System, there are classes responsible for DualShock usage, not only for PS4. Is it going to stay that way, or is it only temporary? Main thing, I am interested about are acceleration and gyro readings, does this work now, or is it planned to be added in one of nearest beta releases?

DualShock support on Windows, Mac, and UWP, at least for the PS4 DualShock controller, will likely not see gyro support getting added. The problem is that the format of the HID input reports we’re getting from the device isn’t documented. Various people have reverse-engineered part of the format but, to the best of my current knowledge, no one has both successfully reverse-engineered the gyro part of the reports and posted publicly about the details. For the PS3 controller but not for the PS4 controller. I know Steam successfully brings in the data but don’t know (yet) whether they’ve simply successfully figured out the format or whether they are using Sony’s official libraries under license.

So, in short, chances are it’ll still happen but there’s no guarantee.
