Building a space flight simulator and would like objects on the canvas to correlate with the ships relative velocities, meaning one shows its current velocity and another shows its desired velocity.
Check the linked picture for a better demonstration. Pardon the messy mouse writing.

Hi there,
if you already know how to build a space sim, you’ll only need very little more, basically your question has very little to do with UI.
I think you can take your velocity vectors (desired direction and current direction) and map them directly to screen space canvas local positions.
Just think canvas center as ship nose direction.
Where ever the ship is heading, is the current dot position, relative to ship nose direction.
The direction you are aiming to go (desired direction/velocity) is also relative vector to ship nose direction.
Offset from canvas center is velocity magnitude.
But would this work for a world space canvas? That’s what you’re seeing in the picture i linked, a canvas in world space rather than on the camera.

@dragonice501
I see no reason why it wouldn’t work.
