I purchased this a few days ago for a client demo this week. The specs say it works on iOS but when I switch platforms to iOS in Unity, the atmosphere texture turns pink (no shader/texture). What do I do to make it work?I need it for my meeting in a few days.
To what extend does this product work with the iOS platform? I know that we wouldn’t be using the full high poly version, but if we move to the low poly version would all of the demos work exactly the same?
I purchased it last week, based on this item in the Features list:

But when I switch to iOS platform in Unity, it throws console errors:

so I filed a ticket on Unity3dx.com, and got this reply: “Hum… where it says it is iPad/iPhone compatible?” So I pointed him to the Features list, and am still waiting to hear back on that. I tried building to iPad2 anyways, and it crashes on launch. Below is what shows up in xcode. So I’m guessing that it does not run on iOS, despite that feature list item, but am hoping for some clarification.

Thanks gecko. I’m curious to know what you find. Please keep us posted. It it can be made to work on iOS I’m interested, otherwise its not as compelling.
Hi, I Gecko, sorry to see that you have problems with the v3 with iPhone. I have never said as far as I can remember that this shader is working on iPhone. It is written everywhere that it is PC/MAC. It is even included in the advertising pictures.
However I have reworked the shader and the version 3.5 has new rewritten shaders. A preview is available here: http://www.nikko3d.com/index.php/3dspaceship/earth-3d-v3-5-the-blue-planet-like-you-never-seen/
The new package is almost ready and I will test it on iPhone.
My suggestion to your problem is that I think the textures are too big, and make the application crash. I do not think it is specifically related to the shader itself. I will post here when I have finished my tests.

Thanks, Unity3dx. Maybe I misinterpreted this statement on the product page, “Working on shader 2.0, so it is iPhone/iPad compatible.” – I thought that mean it works on iPhone, but maybe you meant “I am working on making it work on shader 2.0”? At any rate, I look forward to trying the update.
So, does it work on iPhone/Android? Or is this package/thread dead ?
